1 in 10 Contest Outline and Agreement
The Prize: Ryan Coffey and Uniglobe Geo Travel of Nanaimo will be working in conjunction to provide economy class airfare for two to Liberia International Airport in Costa Rica. The responsibility of payment for the two airfare tickets lies with Ryan Coffey.
Ryan Coffey will provide a total of $1000 spending money to the winning contestant(s).
Nadene and Roland Tipper of Echo Investment Group (www.teamecho.com) in Costa Rica will be providing the following:
- One week accommodation (7 nights) in a newly built fully furnished studio apartment with a full kitchen, queen bed, back yard garden and a community pool. The condo complex is 3 blocks from the beach and is within walking distance of restaurants, shops and bars.
- Shuttle to and from Liberia International Airport. (Approximately 25 minutes from the accommodation.)
- A brief tour of the town of Playas Del Coco which will include tourism and real estate highlights. Scheduled for one morning during visit.
The winning contestant(s) will be asked to choose two or possibly three sets of dates which they'd like to make the trip on and rate them in order of convenience/preference. The dates that are booked will be based on availability.
Entering the Contest:
The 1 in 10 contest will be open exclusively to past clients of Ryan Coffey of Coast Realty Group Ltd., Nanaimo until June 30th, 2010 at which time entries will be accepted from anyone who is able to meet the other qualifications for entry. The contest will be closed as of midnight December 31st 2010.
In order to be entered into the contest, you must refer business to Ryan Coffey. That is, referring a buyer or seller that results in a successful (completed) sale before midnight December 31st 2010. The person referred can be anyone except yourself, your common law partner or spouse.
There will be a limit of ten successful entries, at which time the contest will be closed and a winner will be drawn using a random number generator such as that found at www.random.org. Contestants will be numbered from one to ten and a random number will be generated within that range.
Although there is a total limit of ten entries in the contest, there is no set limit on how many of those entries may be held by one person. This would of course increase your chances of winning to above a 1 in 10 chance. You may even enter 10 times if you are able to do so before others qualify for entry. If you refer a client that buys or sells more than one individual piece of real estate, you will qualify for that many entries.
If ten entries are not received by December 31st 2010, the prize of a one week trip to Coast Rica will not be offered. Instead a cash prize of $250 times the number of entries will be offered. (For example: If only 8 successful entries are received by December 31st, there will be a 1 in 8 chance of winning $2000 cash.) Cash will not be offered as a substitute prize option if there are a total of ten entries.
Those who send referrals to Ryan Coffey that wish to be entered in the contest will not be eligible for his usual $100 for a referral offer.
Contestants must be 19 years of age or older.
The prize must be used by December 31st 2011.

Winning contestant(s) will be required to provide their own health insurance and travel insurance during the
trip as they see fit.
Winning contestant(s) will be required to provide their own food while in Costa Rica.
Transportation to and from Vancouver International Airport (YVR) will be at the winning contestant's expense.
